Shipping Policy

Overview

At Penfound Props, every item is carefully produced and shipped with attention to detail. Shipping times and costs vary depending on whether an item is a custom commission or standard merchandise. Please review the information below before placing an order.

1. Custom Prop Commissions – Production Time

All commissioned props are made to order and crafted individually.

  • Production time is typically 1 to 2 months

  • Timeframes vary depending on:

    • Materials required

    • Complexity of the build

    • Finishing techniques and detailing

  • Production begins once all required information, measurements, and payments have been received

Please note that production timelines are estimates, not guarantees, as custom prop work is a highly hands-on process.

2. Shipping for Custom Commissions

Domestic Shipping

  • Shipping is calculated based on size, weight, and destination

  • Large or fragile props may require specialty packaging

International Shipping

  • International shipping costs may be higher due to:

    • Customs fees

    • Package size and weight

    • Destination country regulations

    • Contents of the parcel

You will be provided with a preliminary shipping estimate before or during the early stages of the commission.

 Important Note on Estimates

  • Shipping quotes are subject to change as the commission is completed and final dimensions and weight are confirmed

  • You will be kept informed of any changes to shipping costs throughout the project

  • No item will be shipped without your approval of the final shipping cost

Customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged by their country.

3. Standard Merchandise Shipping

(Including T-shirts, hoodies, hats, and similar apparel)

  • Standard merchandise typically ships within 2 weeks to 1 month from the date of order

  • Shipping times may vary due to stock availability or supplier delays

  • Tracking information will be provided where available

4. Multiple-Item Orders

If an order contains both:

  • Custom props and

  • Standard merchandise

Items may ship separately to avoid delays, unless otherwise agreed upon.

5. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances

Penfound Props is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Customs processing

  • Postal or courier services

  • Weather conditions

  • Supply chain issues

  • Force majeure events (e.g. strikes, natural disasters)

While delays are rare, customers will be notified if significant issues arise.

6. Packaging & Handling

  • All props are packaged securely to minimize risk of damage

  • Large, fragile, or high-detail props may require reinforced packaging

  • Packaging costs are included in the shipping quote unless otherwise stated

7. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address.

Penfound Props is not responsible for:

  • Lost packages due to incorrect addresses

  • Packages returned due to failed delivery attempts

Reshipping costs may apply in these cases.

8. Shipping Confirmation & Tracking

  • Shipping confirmation will be sent once an item has been dispatched

  • Tracking details will be provided when available

  • Once an item has shipped, responsibility transfers to the carrier

9. Contact & Updates

Communication is a key part of the commission process.

  • Customers will receive updates during the build where appropriate

  • Shipping changes or cost adjustments will be communicated clearly and promptly
